An at home creative ritual to be present with your grief and honor the deceased.

$45– $65*

How it works

The Memorial Macrame is an at-home ritual where you are invited to weave your own personal wall hanging. Each knot tied coincides with a provided prompt, such as “as you tie this knot, speak about a memory where your loved one made you laugh” or “as you tie this knot, tell yourself ‘Whatever I am feeling in the moment is okay.’” By the time you complete the wall hanging, you will have told the story of your grief and honored the deceased.

Who is this ritual for?

A historical moment in our world
The grieving process is impacted by the current major societal changes, such as physical distancing. The Memorial Macrame aims is to provide tools to help ease the heightened difficulty of grieving at home.

Grief has no set timeline
We understand that grief does not have one set timeline, so this can be used two weeks after their passing or even two years.

A family that supports each other
Grief can be difficult to speak about and understand. If you have children, you can weave this ritual as family. This may help your family support one another in new ways.
